Not quite the same.

Let's say Humans were kept as pets by Green Martians.
If I was a Green Martian (and have the same values towards
human-pets as I do as a human to fish-pets),

An example of (A) would be Pygmies from Central Africa.
An example of(B) would be a selectively bred dwarves
