No, I'm not going to attempt captive breeding. I have doubts that they would
be induced to spawn without flowing water and a fairly large tank. And I
really hope they don't get released in Japan! Some of the mountain streams
in Japan would probably be ideal habitat for stonerollers and I think they
would be an unfortunately successful exotic there.
