Generally safer than wild fish. Still, you have to decide for yourself and
your family about eating the antibiotics fed those fish. Some people say to
avoid them because of that.

Speaking of eating wild fish, the Ohio Department of Health advises women of
childbearing age and children under age 6 not to eat fish from Ohio waters
more than once a week because of possible mercury contamination. The same
is true in Illinois regarding the eating of piscivorous fish.
