Since Bob Muller's computer (or e-mail) is down, and Leo Long's away, I've
been asked to pass along these very important messages:

If you're coming to the NANFA Convention, and have not yet registered, we
need to have a final head count by Thursday, July 25. The hotel is requiring
this head count so they know how much food to order. Please let Bob Muller
know by calling him at 248-398-0195 by July 25. Or blip me an e-mail at and I will let Bob know for you. If you do not let us know
you're coming, or show up unannounced, we cannot guarantee that there will
be food for you to eat!

If you are coming, please pay ahead of time. The hotel is prohibiting us
from accepting walk-in registrations. (Not sure why; perhaps there's a state
law prohibiting ticket sales on hotel grounds. Whatever the case, they are
non-negotiable and quite serious on this point.)

For complete information on the absolutely fabulous fish-filled weekend that
Bob and Leo have planned, go to:

Also, be sure to get in those t-shirt orders, and show the world that you're
a native fish fan with that breathtaking portrait of a greenside darter on
your back! Please reserve your shirt now, because once these incredibly
beautiful shirts are gone, they're gone! Orders will be accepted through
July 14!

And if you can't make it to the convention, at least, at LEAST, buy some
raffle tickets. You can get six for $5. read about the prizes here:

Download the tickets (required Adobe Acrobat) here:

Hey, if that's too much work, send me $5 (payable to NANFA) and I will fill
out the tickets for you! Imagine, if everybody in NANFA bought 6 tickets,
we'd raise over $2200!

So, to summarize:

1) Let me or Bob Muller know you're coming by July 25.

2) Pay the registration fee ahead of time, not at the door.

3) Reserve your t-shirts by July 14.

4) Buy raffle tickets and send them to NANFA HQ by July 31. (Or, if you're
going to the convention, buy them there.)

Stephanie and I hope to see you at the native fish extravaganza of the year!
