NANFA-- asian carp

Does anyone know who is the responsible party for the problems with the Asian
carp I have been reading about in the news paper? A 100lb fish jumping around
like mullet sound like a good way to ruin your day. One account I read said
people had to carry shields made from trash can lids to keep from being
injured when they start jumping. I'm betting it wasn't an aquarium hobbyist
this time either. It was mentioned that the Great Lakes were in danger and if
this fish got into the lakes they could become just giant carp ponds. Great,
the largest lakes in NA and all they will have in them is carp and tiny
mussels. What's next Great White Sharks invading the Great Lakes?
