Sorry....I meant to say WELL drillers, not OIL drillers.

Anyhoo, from what I understand, these fish come up occasionally when wells
are drilled. And certain unscrupulous collectors can buy them from certain
unscrupulous drillers. I don't think it's legal, but since the fish are
probably going to die any way (I don't know if there's a way of getting them
back down the well), I don't see too much harm in it UNLESS it encourages
drillers to go after them. I just know that it's possible to score these
fish that way.
