The newest (Mar-Apr 2003) issue of the Endangered Species Bulletin is not
yet on line. When it is, native fish enthusiasts, especially darter buffs,
should check out the following:

The Urban Life of Darters by Daniel J. Drennen (emphasis on the vermillion
darter)

Forty-One Tons by Tyler Sykes (on the boulder darter and Conservation
Fisheries, Inc)

Landowners are Recognized for Public Work by Tyler Sykes (on the barrens
topminnow - mislabeled in text - and bound to become a collector's item)

Cryptic Biodiversity by Robert Butler and Rick Mayden (Darters and Sculpins
and Chubs. Oh My!)

also - articles and notes on mussels, crayfishes, pallid sturgeon.

Previous issues of ESB can be read here:

Presumably, the Mar-Apr isssue will be posted soon.
