I now really like feeding all my fish (which are mostly sunfish and
shiners) cooked frozen shrimp (the small ones). I just thaw some out
when I get up in the morning and then chop them up a little smaller.
I get a big bag from Sam's Wholesale. I also give them frozen
bloodworm cubes a couple of times a week and also some small pellets.
I also throw in any insects that I find. Like last night there was
an abundance of small june bugs flying around---so I caught a bunch
and threw them in. Bigger sunfish love to pick them off. I also
catch any waterbugs or roaches that I find around the house.
