Hey, I do know that carp are a very destructive fish, but I sure do love
fishing for them. Pound-for-pound they are excellent fighters, they rank
right up there with smallmouth. They are one of the smartest and most cunning
fish on this continent. I know its definately for the better that carp be
eliminated, but I just wanted to say there's something good about them, haha.
I am interested in the virus as well. It would be great if we could culture a
virus that would kill zebra mussels, here in Michigan I find at least 5 new
infested lakes a year. In the big lakes I always pull up huge chunks of the
mussels on my fishing line. What pests!
