I recently caught a creek chub (about 6" long in Brush Creek-Brown Cty.
Ohio) that had an orange/rust look. When I wiped my hand off on my white
shirt after releasing it, I noticed an orange/rust looking stain. What was
that? Should I go get some blood tests?

I caught several earlier that day but no strange colors or stains either!
Will I be okay?

My grandpa said they do that with age but he also drinks his own home made
wine! (I won't touch the stuff!)
