Rob,
I guess I should have passed along the details ;) The trip I am putting
together with the Erie Aquarium Society (my home club) is going to be on
Sat. July 13th if you or any other NANFA people would like to join us that
would be great. We will have a lot of "rookies" who have never collected
before so it should be a lot of fun. You are also welcome to join me anytime
to do a little more serious collecting along the creek if you wish. Just
send me an email and we can set up a time, date etc. I live right near it
and I am on it several times a week. It has lots of rare darters and other
cool stuff. There is an article on the NANFA site about collecting in French
Creek. The article is about 10 years old but it gives a good picture of what
we run into. I have found a spot filled with lots of Longnose Darters that
was quite surprising since its slow warm and silty.

Here is a cut-n-paste from our newsletter with all the details on the July
13th trip
