They just show up. No aeration. A couple containers don't even have debris
on the bottom. Sometimes when I pour old aquarium water in to the container
some come swimming to the surface.

Seems like someone on the list told me a year or two ago that they require
higher dissolved oxygen to do well. One of these days I'll run air lines out
there and see what happens.
