Hey everyone,
I am new to this list and to NANFA. I have kept and bred African Cichlids
for years (about 10). I have always wondered why no one has really kept
North American fish. I mean after all there are some really cool fish out
there. This week I learned about NANFA and I am very excited. I live in
Oregon and would love to get in contact with other member from NANFA in this
region. Partly because of a fish I found in one of our local streams and I
am trying to find out what it is. I think it is Cottus Bairdi (Mottled
Sculpin) but I am not sure. I would love to be able to keep this little guy
in an aquarium, but my first attempt at raising two of them met with
disaster. I don't want to try again until I know how to raise them. Also I
never considered the possibility of it being endangered (I know, I should
have checked this first.). If anyone out there can help out please let me
know.

Thanks
Kevin
