Just wanted to say a big thanks to Bruce, Casper and others involved in
putting together the convention this weekend in Huntsville. The speakers on
Friday were very interesting and the company good. The field trip Bruce led
to the Sipsey Fork was an outstanding success with early morning downpours
dissoving into a wonderful day of observing and collecting in a beautiful,
clear river running through a scenic gorge. Nice diversity of fish, and
almost every one new to this ole Tennessee boy. Even as I write this I am
watching Alabama Shiners happily swimming in my 55 gal. along with a pair of
Blackbanded Darters and others.

This was the first convention for Tom Laughlin and myself and we both are
looking forward to retuning to next years convention in South Carolina.
Meanwhile I guess we will just have to make do fishwatching and collecting in
the Clinch and N. Fork Holston Rivers here in east Tennessee/southwest
Virginia (tuff, but we will be o. k.!). Thanks again everyone for a great
weekend in Huntsville.
