I wish we had more time also. Then again, sounds like we will next year!
Maybe we can set up some gator wrestling matches? I'll try to get those
pics sent to you of the spotted suckers (presumably) and the mystery banded
sunfish.

ps- a basilisk is a south american lizard that can run on the surface of the
water. They are also called Jesus Christ lizards.

If I had known you wanted to see big leeches, I could have shown you some.
Just ask Steven about the one that took a liking to his hand. We've never
seen any gators in that creek or even that far upstate, but the creek is a
tributary of the Edisto and the Edisto does have alot of gators (some of
pretty fair size too). We were only a few miles from where the two come
together. Always pays to be vigilant.

I had a great time showing y'all around. Wish we had more time than just
the one afternoon. Maybe next time you will finally understand the meaning
of "over yonder".

What the heck's a basalisk.....LOL!! ;-)
