Hey Bob,

If you have multiple tanks... ;) You could move out the natives and heat
the tank for a bit and grow up some Clown Loaches (Botia macracanthus) for a
dry goods trade when you're done with them. I think Yo-Yo Loaches (Botia
lohachata) will do the same, but seem to get pretty nasty evil once they get
a bit larger.

You remove the big adult brooder snails, they'll clean up the rest. I used
to have 6 that I floated between tanks in my shop system. It was 28 33
gallon tanks all linked to a common sump, so erradication was impossible...
But the numbers dropped *hard* and I was able to really keep up and not have
to fuss with them.

Really with summer temps, I don't know if you'd even have to heat it if your
tank runs above 76 anyway. A heater might be a good thing to add tho just
so you don't end up with "white spotted" loaches :)

...And now is the time as their season for decent $4-$8 specimens is ending
about now (Clown Loaches).
