around here, you aren't going to have much success stomping around in the
marsh. most of it grows in an incredibly soft, viscous, dark gray mud. it
tends to be about hip deep and deeper. i'll be happy to show you where you
can go and i can point out to the rescue team the boil where you sank out
of site when they come to retrieve the body....
i wonder if snow shoes would work?
actually, there are a few places that have a semi-firm shoreline in the
marsh. i'll have to investigate with the dip net.
