I have a 125 gallon plastic pool in the basement on the concrete floor. It
stays pretty cool even in the summer when the air temperature is 80. I also
use small plastic tanks directly on the concrete floor for cool water
killifish. The down side of this is I have to lie on the floor or view from
above to see the fish. The 10 inch bluegill and 14 inch bullhead in the 125
gallon plastic pool come up to feed pretty quickly.
