Brad Kerr <brad_at_aquahabitat.com> asked me:

>I hope to ensure the habitat I am designing will lend itself well to
>healthy gammarus populations. This is easy to do in hard waters, but we
>are trying to do it in a more acidic environment this time so I plan to
>strategically use limestone to create microhabitats for the fw shrimp.

If anyone has any thoughts about Gammarus culture and water chemistry
requirements (or strategies) please share them with the list and I'll
forward them to him. Or contact him yourself but please share with the
list also. Thanks.
