Here in MS we have been blessed with a surfeit of ladybugs. In the training center where I work they litter the lenses of the overhead
lights. At home they are crawling all in my shop. Is there some kind of 7-year ladybug cycle, or do they just like the weather?

This was the year of the Cicada too :-) My neighbors happily tell me that "red-eyed grasshoppers" make good fish bait.
