It's official now! It appears the lil' ditty I put together for the kidos
at Maumee Valley High School is going to come in handy again. Through some
contacts at the local Nature Conservancy project, an organization made up of
local Educators with interests in nature got ahold of me asking about some
type of presentation. They thought they wanted to hear about prairie
remnants in the area.... They're gonna get native fish :)

Can you say huge target audience contact?!?!?

This is their year end banquet too, so they'll have about 40-50+ people
there, hopefully including some extra college students who can get a "Forum"
humanitites credit for attending.

We were trying to think of a title, something neat, but not too cheesy...

I blurted out "Native Fish - Jewels of our Streams" and she went "What?!
Jewels!? I can't wait now!"

Ah yes, Mr. Rainbow Darter.... We'll show 'em what they've been missing.

AND what's even sweeter... The campus where I'll be presenting is adjacent
to my favorite home water... Tenmile Creek... And this particular
organization works to create scholoarships for students who can't afford to
go to the College's "Life Lab" which is a nature center type thing for kids,
where they have week long summer camps to learn about ecology and so forth.

Mwoooohahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....

Oh the possibilities have me just giddy right now.

Now to re-tool the presentation with some Blackside Darter and Least Darter
punch, and give everyone their own page to shine on! :)

She also asked for my "title" or whatever... I gave her "Nature Dude". Is
that unprofessional? ;)

I hope you know that this will go down on your permanent record.
