I'm no expert, but they sure look like daphnia to me. Oblongly round,
generally reddish [as these are] or green and not hinged like cyclops. I don't
focus up close real well, but they appear to have an egg sack just below midway on
their bodies whereas the cyclops trail their egg sacks on their tailends.
