NANFA-- Grindle worms

Does anyone have a grindle worm colony going now or have experience with
them? My colony has been doing well for a couple of years but lately there seems
to be slime slowly spreading across the surface of the soil. This slime seems
to be killing out the worms where ever it covers. The slime seems to have
started where I was using bread to feed the worms. The bread started to mold and
with the mold the death of the worms by slime started also. Does anyone know
what to do about this?
