I will third that. I was going to say out of three options given, which
ever one had an article I wanted to read for the month. I would say they
have all gotten better. Used to be more than half saltwater - no offense to
saltwater- but I believe this is driven by what sells expensive products
rather than what most readers want to see. That said, many salt water info
can be adapted to fresh. One magazine even admitted that in its letters to
the editor. If it wasn't salt, then African cichlids. Again, I am biased.
If I want to read about cichlids, I want to read about new world ones, or
something different than the rift lakes and east African ones.

Atleast they have all given some play to North American fishes of late. I
almost thought they were over doing it, but apparently this must be catching
on. Aquarists in Europe have coveted our fish for a long time.
