That's some dipnet - where can I get one? Spooky topminnows? No match for my
12' dipnet!

About 15 years ago I saw a special on Public Television about the spring
smelt run on Lake Michigan. I was fascinated by the dip nets they used and have
not been able to find one. I've been up to Michigan City, Indiana a couple of
times in May and have snooped around K-Mart, a couple of bait stores and the
boat docks where a guy I knew kept his boat to find them without luck. Maybe
Sajjad Lateef could snoop around and find a source.

Or maybe I could do a web search for bait shops on Lake Michigan.
