A week ago I went creaking . Set out 3 minnow
traps and did some kick-netting . Netted a variety of
minnows and darters . Went back the next morning to
collect my traps . 2 of the 3 traps had fish in them
.More minnows darters and a madtom . Nothing in the
3rd trap .
In the spring I look foreword to my little
lizard buddy s running all over the porch . They get
so tame they wont move until the last second before my
size 12s come down in their space .
My creaking trip of the week before led to a
disaster for my porch buddies . I had taken the 2
traps with fish in them apart but hadn't taken the 3rd
empty trap apart . When I got home I dropped the traps
on the porch .
While puttering on the porch today I noticed
something moving in the 3rd trap . Yup ... 3of my
porch buddies were in the minnow trap .One of them was
dead . I felt bad .Take your minner traps apart and
save a porch buddy .
