the 13 Apr issue of Science has an article titled: Will Black Carp Be the
Next Zebra Mussel?

It is a brief discussion of the politics surrounding the introduction of a
fish that one malacologist says "can crush a mollusk the size of a golf
ball."

Analogies are made with establishment and spread of bighead and silver carp.
