Dear NANFA members,

The Spring issue of American Currents (aka the Slim Aguilar Memorial Issue) has
just been mailed. It's sent bulk rate, so it can take anywhere from 3 days to 5
weeks to get there.

Among the articles in this issue are:

* John Brill on the unique reproductive behavior of the Baja killifish, Fundulus

* Bob Hrabik (Missouri Dept. of Conservation) on the bullhead minnow, Pimephales

* Jan Hoover and Jack Killgore on the "smallest-mouth" buffalo, Ictiobus bubalus

* Mike Thennet and Dave Jones on collecting & keeping mountain redbelly dace,
Phoxinus oreas

* Bob Muller on spawning northern redbelly dace, Phoxinus eos

* a report on the newly described laurel dace, Phoxinus saylori

* plus fascinating tidbits on the American eel, Neosho madtom, Atlantic salmon,
and more!

If you're not a NANFA member, join now. I have a bunch of extra copies looking
for a good home. You can find a NANFA application at:
