I referred this to a columnist I know with the Japan Times. I'm waiting for
his feedback concerning this. May have to wait a bit as he is now in East
Timor looking at what can be done with the mess over there.

This is something that needs our serious attention and cannot be evaluated
on a bottomline principle similar to a business is due to any number of
forseen/unforseen circumstances. I could quote any number of examples of
experiments that are being undertaken in Asia and their effects but, I think
many other researchers and writers have stated their case much more
effectively.

I'll wait to see what Stephen Hesse has to say about this and its possible
affects on the situation in Asia.
