Say "Hi" to the salamanders up around the waterfall for me. There are some
really pretty Long-tailed and Cave Salamanders up there. I'll just stay
here in the hot, dry desert and think about you guys having fun.

this is quick note to anyone interested...
on saturday june 22 we will meet about noon near s pittsburg tn... spend the
day checking out various sites... battle creek, fiery gizzard, sweeden cove,
others. that night we will camp at altamont on a beautiful bluff overlooking
a mountain stream waterfall. we will have electricity, water and shelter...
but you will need sleeping gear and food. sunday we will explore the origins
of the elk river at the mountain's base.
