Here is the scoop on the seining trip this Saturday. We will have to play
it by ear because as of last night, the water was very high and the weather
looks iffy. We will be meeting at the office building across from Bob Evans
on Rt 91 and I-422 in Solon at 9am. Here we will try to condence and
carpool as much as we can. Our first destination is Rotary Park in Rock
Creek (a Grand River trib) on Rock Creek (on Rt 45 just north of Rt 6). We
will meet those who are coming from the southeast here at 10 am. After we
tinker here a bit, we will head north a mile or so to the Riverdale Bridge.
We will have to see what the water is looking like but if we are lucky, we
will then head northeast to the Harpersfield Bridge and then possibly on to
Riverview Park on 528 and the Grand. The last site is only if the stars
align correctly. If the water is too fast, then we will have to just seek
out some small tributaries.

Here is what you need:

a fishing liscense ($15 at Walmart, Kmart, bait store, etc.). You are still
welcome to come without a liscense but you wont' be fishing.
Boot or waders if you have them. If not, old tennies and a change of
a couple of bucks for gas and lunch or just a couple of bucks for gas if you
are bringing your lunch
drinking water
a bucket with a battery powered aerator if you plan on keeping any fish
nets if you have them. If not, we should have some to use.
fish guide book if you have one.

It would be very helpful to me if you would confirm with me if you are
planning on attending. I realize things come up but if I have an
apporximate head count, it would be very helpful. Also, it is helpful to be
early at our meeting place so if you need breakfast, whatever, please plan
ahead. You can email as a confirmation or you can call me. My yuppie phone
number is 440-781-6675 so even if you are running late on Saturday morning,
please call me. see you there!
