NANFA-- Flagfin update

My flagfins quit spawning, despite the fact that most of the females
were still swollen with eggs and the water conditions were unchanged.
I had suspected that a water change may serve as a spawning trigger, so
I changed 25% of the water a few days ago. Now I'm up to my ears in fry
again, about three times as many as last time.
Therefore, I'd like to add this update; water changes are almost
certainly a spawning trigger for this species.

On a related note, I've found a way to get my extra fish to the
Huntsville Meeting. My brother has agreed to take them up there when he
returns from his Memorial Day visit. ( He lives near Huntsville, you see
) So, I guess he & Bruce need to work out the details between
themselves. I'll be sending around 25-30 fish. If you want some, here's
your chance. The ones I'll be sending have not spawned yet, so they'll
be ripe.
