Most alpine lakes in that area did not support fish prior to introductions
of salmonids, but had abundant amphibian and invertebrate populations.
Whatever toxicant they use (antimycin, likely) might accidentally zonk a few
Ambystoma, but in the long run, not having fish in the lakes will benefit
them, too.
