You touch on a big subject, Bruce. One group that works on that kind of
question in the U.S. is Conservation Fisheries, Inc., of Knoxville,
Tennessee. One of their specialties is non-invasive stream surveys for rare
fish species. You could contact J.R. Shute at And you're absolutely right, get rid of
