The pond probably is fertile, never measured the nitrates and such. I have
not got the site up yet, havent even started it, been too busy with other
things. I am sure to get on it this winter, its still down the list of "
things to do". Its made out of roofing rubber, sand and gravel substrate,
no filter, any plants that will grow in there I put in, but mostly cattails,
parrot feater, hyacinth, rush, anacharis, bladderwort hair grass, lilly pads
and some odds and ends of others.
