Tom Baughs " Net Full of Natives" is another excecellent book I had
pre-NANFA ( along with Our Native Fishes). I recommend it if nothing else
for the awesome pictures of the Olympic Mudminnow. Some newer books I highly
reccomend are " North American Native Fishes: by David Schleser, "Freshwater
Fishes of the Carolinas, Virginia, Maryland, & Delaware" by Fred C. Rohde,
Rudolph G. Arndt, David G Linquist, & James F. Parnell, and "American
Aquarium Fishes: by Robert Goldstein, Rodney Harper, and Richard Edwards.
Not to mention any of the great " Fishes of X ( X = state name)" books, and
some of particular bodies of water, like the " Fishes of the Okeefenokee
Swamp" by Laerm and Freeman.
