NANFA-- Hogsucker
Mon, 9 Sep 2002 11:51:51 EDT

I guess it's true that pride comes before a fall. My hogsucker who was one of
my favorite fish died yesterday. After 14 months of eating and growing like a
hog he was found floating on the top dead. I really don't understand why he
died I figured he would live five years or more. The water temps had finally
dropped from the low 80's into the low 70's for the last few days and the
hottest part of the summer is over. Maybe next time a Black jumprock
(Scartomyzon cervinus) or some other smaller more southerly type of hogsucker
would live better.
