Nothing as big as 8' has been seen in a decade. No telling how long this
particular individual may have been out there. I'm planning on doing some
night-lighting to see if I can find him to see how big he is though.

Yes, you, Charlie, et al. were immersed in this particular area in June. This
is in the last spot that we went to on Saturday. I am waiting for a freaked
out response from Charlie!
