Hey guys, maybe try not to be so hasty to judge state biologists. What if
the snakehead/bowfin discovery had nothing to do with the actual purpose of
that fish survey. Maybe the "biologist" wasn't a field biologist. The
trend these days is to go to fewer people doing work that possibly more or
better experienced people would do if they had enough money to do the job
right. Blame your state's legislature and voters/taxpayers if you're
unhappy with the job your DNR's employees are doing. If they seem
nonresponsive to your phone calls, consider how a lot of people would view
their sitting around waiting for the phone to ring :-)
