NANFA-- "Sawfin" shiners?

Hello List, I'm finally back and up on various lists after my move to
Huntsville, AL. I'm teaching biology at the University of Alabama in
Huntsville and my explorations of the UAH campus lead me to this question:
Has the _Notropis_ sp. "Sawfin Shiner" been formally described yet? I think
I found a population of these shiners in a spring-fed stream at UAH about
200 meters from my office. At least they look exactly like the picture in
"Fishes of Alabama" by Mettee et al. Along with systematic status, has
anyone kept these guys in aquaria? I have four of them in a 5-gal. tank at
the moment in my office, and this is my first experience with Southern
shiners. The official "Fishes of Alabama" description of their habits is,
"Otherwise, little is known about the biology of this species." (besides a
rough outline of breeding season).

Thanks, as always.
