I guess I should have started-in-the back of the thread and thenI wouldnt need 3+ responses. I went in the first week of March several years ago and used a 3 mm full suit. As nice as the water temp is and the weather can be, the typical drift dive down Rainbow Springs is 45 minutes long so you do start to get a little cool. The other springs varied in temp but were all relatively the same and everyone kept using their 3 mm suits.

if your gonna snorkel any florida spring for any period of time your gonna
need a wetsuit and want the sun shining on your back! you can last for awhile
without but you will soon be a ccchhhhhaaaaatttteeeerrrrriiiiinnnnnggggg.
every fishhead needs a wetsuit.
