Parker said sturgeon attacks occur once or twice a year on the Suwannee.
fish can jump as high as 8 feet in the air and can weigh up to 200
Makes it sound like the sturgeon deliberately attacked the boat with
malice aforethought. Not to make light of the victim's injuries which
were quite serious, but the thought of a sturgeon "attacking" makes me
think of the SouthPark episode where Mr. Hankie throws himself at
somebody he doesn't like.
