Well, when I set up the 10 ft by 6 ft x 2 ft kiddie pool in my
basement fish room I simply reminded my wife that that area was just
full of her many garage sale finds that had been taking up space for
four years and still had not been refinished. So I kindly moved them
closer to the work bench where she wouldn't forget them rather then
put them out on the curb. Plus, I pointed out the kiddie pool was
only $15 on sale, much more economical then the alternative same sized
tank. It's neat how much more natural the fish seem in the pool.
Originally I thought it would be a temporary thing till I got some
larger tanks but now I'm thinking it might be a good breeding pool
with some tubs of gravel and stones in the filter flow.
