That goes to my point that people are not really interested in doing
LESS work with their aquaria. And now in the freshwater arena we have
Amano tanks. In the old days it was saltwater tanks (fish and coral
skeletons), now it's reef setups. I honestly believe that there is a
genuine interest among most people in having an AQUARIUM, not just a
curio cabinet. After all, you can buy these plastic tanks with plastic
fishes in them that swim up and down from Wal-Mart for about $20, or for
the same money you can get a screensaver, but instead they choose a real
tank with real fish, for a pretty good chunk of change.
