Post - Doctoral Fellowship In Molecular Evolution

A two-year post-doctoral fellowship in molecular systematics is available-in-
the
Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. The Academy's Laboratory of
Molecular Systematics and Ecology (see
www.acnatsci.org/research/moleculargroup.html) will provide the facilities
and
colleagues to support the successful candidate's research. Taxonomic focus
is
open but projects that involve collaboration with senior scientific staff-in-
the
Academy or that make special use of the Academy's remarkable natural history
collections are especially welcome:

Applicants are encouraged to correspond in advance with appropriate
scientists
at the Academy. Requirements: Ph.D. in systematics or related discipline,
background in phylogenetic systematics and/or molecular evolution;
experience
with DNA sequencing not absolutely necessary (i.e., some training can be
provided), but evidence of lab skills is necessary.Salary: Mid 30Ks.; there
will
also
be an allowance for laboratory work and possibly other research expenses
based
on project needs.
