Thanks for the thoughts, Moon. I don't eat caviar, or any commercially
caught fish, except two species from Alaska where the fisheries for
those two are reported by most conservation agencies and advocacy
groups as being sustainably managed. I do eat farm raised catfish from
the Langston University Aquaculture Program when those fish are offered
for sale to the public. The program promotes sustainable farming. I
also eat, about one time a year, lm or sm bass that I catch on my once
yearly trip to an Ozark stream strictly for R and R and to remember old
times when I fished for fun.

BTW, do most of you guys realize that data in recent years suggest that
the minimum size requirements for both commercial and sports harvest
seem to be promoting smaller sized populations and smaller size-in-
maturity among targeted species?
