Since this post has very little meat to it... Has anyone looked into the
geology of the blue pike?

I was having a conversation the other day with one of the geologists. With
current information they're working on, apparently Lake Erie's glacial lake
predecessors set as a CLOSED basin for around 5000 years until the Niagra
Outlet opened and a massive flood drained Glacial Lake Warren down to a
series of streams and tiny lakes. I got giddy-in-the implications. It
could explain a lot of things.
