1) Where are there yellowfin shiner in Tennessee?
2) redbelly dace...what species? Mountain, Tennessee, Southern?
3) Aren't rainbow shiners state listed in TN?

I'm not sure the 'originated in TN' is the sole reason for the confiscation.

Hello Casper,
collected in May in TN together with a friend. We had with us 10 pairs
of redbelly dace, 10 pairs of rainbow shiner and 20 pairs of Yellowfin
shiners. Even I had an actual fishing license, an export license and the
necessary paper work for USFWS these fish have been confiscated-in-the
USFWS office-in-Atlanta airport, after we told them that they originated
from TN.
Unfortunately it seems collecting, even in small numbers, will be more
and more difficult in the near future.
