.than one might think. I participated in the pre-convention Buffalo
River camp, which was a blast! I was playing my guitar kind of off to
myself, so as not to annoy the other campers, and Michael Wolfe kind of
crept within listening range, and commented "That sounds a lot like the
style of Michael Hedges", or words to that effect. Well, I was floored,
because anytime I mention Michael Hedges I get blank stares, and here
was a guy who not only knew who he was, but could identify his playing
style! THEN, Casper said "Oh yeah, I heard him play in Nashville - he
was amazing!" It was then I knew I was truly among my own kind. What
are the chances that three guys would get together and all be familiar
with a relatively obscure (in the popular sense) musician? It must be
something in the water.
