Hi gang. My copy of Okie Noodling arrived today and has since been =
viewed. It comes highly recommended, although it's a bit gentrified in =
documentary format, which for me was a minor downside, but it will =
probably make it more entertaining for the <ahem> rest of your family =
;)

In case you've lost that url... The website is =
http://www.okienoodling.com/ . It took longer than I expected to ship, =
but it got here. So if you order it... Don't sweat it, it'll arrive. =
$20 very well spent with inspiration to make an attempt to catch the =
2006 event (2005 is in a week).
=20
I still want to land a copy of the episode of Southern Outdoors where =
they featured noodling in Alabama. That was the cutting edge of =
noodling. I will never forget the wiry man disappearing into the muddy =
water, his head popping back up finally, leaning his back up to the boat =
and two flatheads suddenly appearing in the boat. That was a classic =
moment in North American fish. =20
